15m Backwash Hose
The 15m Heavy Duty Backwash Hose is used to carry waste backwash water from the filter multiport valve away to the nearest drain.
Backwashing is the term given when the flow of swimming pool water is reversed to flush out debris and dirt from the swimming pool filter. Unlike cartridge filters, which need to be removed and cleaned, sand filters are cleaned using water from the swimming pool. This rinses off dirt and debris that has accumulated throughout the cleaning process.
