Large Chlorine Tablets are slow dissolving and suitable for use in both private pools and small commercial pools. An easier way of maintaining chlorine levels in your pool water, 200g Chlorine Tablets are placed in the skimmer, floating dispenser or chlorine feeder (trichlorinator). When dosed via the skimmer the tablet(s) will dissolve slowly over a 3 to 4 day period, the rate at which they dissolve
will vary depending upon water flow and temperature. They have a high level of available chlorine and contain chlorine stabiliser.

Add 1  Large Chlorine Tablet (200g) to 45 cubic metres of pool water when used in the skimmer basket. The dose rate if offered as a general guide for private pools. Heavily used pools and those maintained at higher temperatures will require increased dosage. Test for actual requirements by using a poolside test kit, adjusting the dose rate as necessary to maintain a minimum free chlorine level of 1-3ppm.

Application Instructions

WARNING – DO NOT ADD DIRECTLY TO A POOL AND ALWAYS USE A CLEAN APPLICATOR AS BELOW WITH NO OTHER PRODUCTS PRESENT.

Skimmer: Place one tablet in the skimmer basket per 45,450 litres (10,000 gallons) and adjust tablet numbers as necessary to take account of your water flow to achieve 1–3 mg/l (ppm) relatively consistently.

Floating Dispenser: Fill the Trichlor floating dispenser with tablets and adjust the aperture mechanism at the bottom of the dispenser to obtain the 1–3 mg/l (ppm) desired range. Alternatively keep the dispenser aperture constant and vary the tablets inside to achieve 1–3 mg/l (ppm). The dispenser should be removed from the pool while swimmers are bathing.

Chlorine Feeders: Few feeders take this 200g tablet and the 20g smaller tablet may be required. However, if appropriate, fill the dispenser and follow feeder instruction manuals on flow regulation to maintain 1–3 mg/l (ppm) chlorine levels.

Note: It is recommended that you periodically (e.g. weekly/fortnightly) shock or oxidise your water, using Blue Horizons Pool Fusion, Granular Shock, Rapid Shock or Shock ‘n’ Floc.
