pH Increaser (1kg)

Description

pH Increaser (1kg) is a powdered product which should be used for raising the pH in pool water.

The ideal pool pH level is between 7.2 – 7.6, promoting bather comfort, optimal chemical efficiency and protection of pool plant equipment.

If Total Alkalinity is low then it can make the pH fluctuate, making it difficult to control and mantain at the ideal level. However if the Total Alkalinity is too high then the pH can be difficult to change and will keep rising. A high Total Alkalinity can also lead to a formation of a bicarbonate scale on spa surfaces & within the pipework. The ideal Total Alkalinity level should be between the range of 80-150mg/l.

Apply when the pH falls below 7.2. Note: A number of applications may be necessary.

pH Increaser (1kg) Instructions:

1. Pre-dissolve the product in a clean plastic container at a maximum rate of 100g of product 10ltrs of clean water.
2. Stir well to ensure product is fully dissolved.
3. Carefully add the resulting solution to the pool whilst the pump(s) are turned ‘on’, preferably near to the water inlets to aid distribution.
4. After a minimum of 8 hours, recheck the pH level and if necessary repeat the treatment until the ideal pH is established.
